Think you have what it takes to play at the next level? Are you ready to commit yourself to the sport of ultimate like never before? Do you want to play for a champion?
Well you’re in luck! The 2016 DC Current open tryouts will be held at the Nova Field House on Feb. 28 from 9am-1pm and we are looking for the best ultimate players in the DMV and beyond.
The 4-hour session on Feb. 28 will test your mind and body so come prepared to work. We are looking for players that are ready to commit to the Current and embrace being a pro athlete by being an active member of the ultimate community.
Along with roster player, we will also be actively looking for players to compete for practice player spots as well as up and coming talent that we can work with and develop into the Current’s next super star.
We will have subsequent invite-only tryouts on March 5 and 12 at Archbishop Carroll High School from 12-3pm.
The price of attending the Feb. 28 session is $40 online and $50 at the door so sign up now! There will be no fee for the invitational tryouts.
Here’s what to remember
Open Tryout Feb. 28 9am-1pm and the Nova Field House (14810 Murdock Street, Chantilly, VA 20151)
Turf cleats and shoes are welcome, but like most indoor facilities they have a strict NO FIELD CLEATS policy. All of our games will be held on turf, so it is a great investment to make.
Water and light food will be provided, but bring what you know you will need to hydrate and fuel up.
Invite only tryouts/practices will be March 5 and 12 at Archbishop Carroll High School from 12-3pm.
Bring a great attitude and come ready to work.
